What’s your favorite breakfast food?

Though I love my sleep, I love my rare mornings when I wake up early enough to treat myself to a substantial breakfast. Today, I had Trader Joe’s cereal with soy milk, a hard-boiled egg, V8 juice and a banana. When I have avocados ripening in my fruit basket, I love to indulge myself to avocado and hummus on toast. On my lazy weekend mornings, I invest a little extra time in the kitchen to cook a vegetable fritata doused generously with hot sauce.

What do you love to eat for breakfast?

Hi Yumi- We have had a load of grapefruits coming through the Rockies and so each morning I have a grapefruit. 2 soft boiled eggs with a slice of toast and dandelion coffee. It is soooo enjoyable

    Cheers,

    Ed

On the weekends, I like cooking eggs for my sweetie and me. This weekend, I scrambled some with fresh rosemary and heirloom cherry tomatoes. I like that I can throw any tasty ingredients laying around my refrigerator into the eggs.

During the week, it's quick, quick, quick. Grab and go.

    GOOD AFTERNOON!!!

Sunday Brunch, ie: once a week: Freshly squeezed orange juice, 2 sunny side up eggs, 3 strips of bacon, shredded hash browns, sour dough toast, a little fruit and coffee, most importantly shared with Family and Friends.

As Tim says it's having it with family and friends isn't it? and not having to rush ;-) I love leisurely breakfasts …

    Would anyone understands if I say;

    - Bread, butter and 'pol sambol'

    - string hoppers and potatoe curry ;) with or without 'pol sambol'

    Lolz

Toast is good too – also bread and butter with bacon/boiled eggs and steamed veges with mashes potatoes are quite a good breakfast too but its nto the usual norm over here.

    Not to forget omlettes :)

    ahh forgot

Pol rotti too is fun to have with butter and sugar :D

    so is greengram

    hmmm….

glad to know a lot of people love eggs, i get so lectured for eating too many of them :(

as for breakfast i rarely have it. i head direct for a lunch, heavy one.

U get lectured? Once I got banned – had to protest to get 'em back

LoLz – but its true you shouldn't have too many of them – I'd say just two or three per week !

    Pickled herring & diet coke.

While I may be a fervent believer in capitalism during the remainder of the day, I'm nearly a bolshevik at breakfast.

Eggs in a basket are my favorite mmm

You cut a hole in a slice of toast fry it in a frying pan and then cook an egg in the middle of it. It sounds kind of strange but it's delicious. :)

I'm not much for cold breakfast…
