Namaste and Shalom Noah,
Prayer will mean different things to an immature ego that feels alone, angry and afraid and a mature ego that has forged a connection to the source of all love, nurturance and creativity. The immature ego worries about its survival and prayer becomes a form of magical control to make him safe in the world. God becomes a magical servant of the ego if the ego can be clever enough to say the right words to mollify the divine.
The mature ego on the other hand has integrated with the Divine Feminine consciousness and no longer worries about her own survival because the connection to the Schechinah has let the mature ego know that she is more than just her physical self and that her purpose here in the physical realm is to be a conduit of love and inspiration.
The mature ego's prayer is then one of gratitude for the miraculous nature of life and expresses the desire to be of service to the Schechinah, to dedicate one's life to Her, which is called Lishma in Hebrew.
As enough individuals grow and develop from an immature ego to a mature ego, then patriarchy and the thought disorder it represents will diminish and the Goddess will return to the earth in love, nurturance, and beauty. Then the world will be free of war, slavery, poverty and repression, especially sexual repression.
love and light,
Stuart
