I was chatting with some friends today trying to understand the ramifications of health care reform. (In fact, I found this interactive article on the NY Times quite helpful…)
Many people I know have been limited in their work and life choices because of the need for health care or the reality of pre-existing conditions. Fear or getting sick and having to deal with medical bills has limited them from either taking jobs or forced them to stay with ones they are miserable in.
So, the question came up – what kind of opportunities will expanded health care offer to individuals?
Will it allow individuals to take more risks?
