You are More Powerful than You Know

You’ve heard the old adage, "You are what you eat," but I think "You are what you eat, drink, breathe, think, and do."  Every food you eat, every beverage you consume, every breath you take, every thought you think, and all the actions you take in life are creating you.

The eat and drink part of the equation is fairly straightforward.  The foods and beverages you consume will be broken down by your body into vitamins, minerals, enzymes, phytonutrients, amino acids, fatty acids, and simple sugars, all of which your body will then use as raw materials to create new liver cells, skin cells, brain cells, bone cells, or whatever your body needs to replenish at that time.  Choose food and beverages that support your physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual wellbeing.

As for breathing:  Not only is oxygen necessary for life, it helps determine our quality of life.  Sufficient oxygen helps to ward off pathogens, cancer, and even pain and inflammation.  Breathe deeper and you’ll be well on your way to experiencing better health…on all levels.

A wise sage once claimed, "You are what you think about all day long."  What do you think about during your days? Do you think about how exhausted you are?  Do you find life dull and boring?  Do you think about not having enough money, time, or other resource?  Or perhaps you think life is difficult and overwhelming?  These thoughts are the building blocks of your body, mind, and spirit.  They are what you will become.

Consider some exciting research in this field.  Researchers at the Princeton School of Engineering found that a large number of their study participants could influence microscopic physical events at a distance, including the output of computerized random number generators.  The only tool at their disposal for affecting the "randomness" of the numbers generated was their mind.  The participants in the study were able to "will" events to happen in a specific direction simply by focusing their conscious minds.  That is a profound study.  It suggests that things we consider random and coincidence can actually be affected by our thoughts.

So, what if you begin to expect the best from life?  What if you start to believe that you can make significant changes in your life that will improve your health, energy, immune system, and overall feelings that life is great?  Just as surely as the nutrients in our food become part of our body and consciousness, so too are our thoughts the foundations of who we are.  If you’re not happy with the life you’re living, try thinking different thoughts.

Thank you Michelle. TO ME Changing the way we prcieve our world indeed changes it. And the way we see ourselves also affects us because our emotions and our minds are like very powerful magnets, so if we see ourselves as evolving spiritual beings we will feel our inmoretality and by doing so neither superevaluation nor subevaluation willa ffect our lives. The key word is balance. To live a truethful DUAL LIFE. mATERIAL AND SPIRITUAL.

Dear Michelle, We are the architects of our lives, especially from the action of our sous, our body nefesh, our ruach and our neshamahs. The problem for most people is that they act from the level of the mind called ego. This part of us is neither our best or strongest and it makes choices trying to control the outcome. For many of us the choices of our ego is at variance with what our soul is trying to bring to our consciousness. This conflict makes our life messy. It is in our own personal creative mess that we can find our souls and then have them make nice to each other remove the conflict between our ego and our souls. When we are living in harmony with our greater self, we live in harmony with the world and with life in general. That is when we become conduits for Divine love and light. Look for the synchronous happenings in our lives. Leave the stressful world of what society has created as much as possible and enter into liminal time, when time moves differently for you. love and light, Stuart http://stuartmarkberlin.com

Michelle, thank you for this wonderful reminder. It wasn't until recently that I realize I have a lot of junk in my brain and I can really use to improve the quality of my thoughts. Go meditation and healthy eating! :)
